1. Introduction
Tamitan (“we”, “our”, “the App”) is operated by Monoloco Ltd, an Israeli company. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We follow the Israeli Privacy Protection Law (1981), the Privacy Protection Regulations – Data Security (2017), and relevant guidelines from Apple and Google. By using Tamitan, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to operate the service:
2.1 Basic Account Information
• Full name
• Mobile phone number (used for verification and login)
• Email address
• Optional profile photo (you can choose not to upload one)
2.2 Items, Orders, and Activity
• Items you list for sale (title, description, price, category, images)
• Your order history (items bought or sold, dates, prices, status)
• In-app chat messages between buyers and sellers
• Ratings and reviews you give or receive
We keep listing and order history to allow you to track your activity and to keep the marketplace safe and transparent.
2.3 Location Information
Tamitan is a location-based marketplace. We use location to help match buyers and sellers in the same area.
We may collect:
• Real-time location (GPS) ONLY if you explicitly enable location services in your device and in the app settings
• Approximate area based on your manually entered address or general device region
We do NOT:
• Track your background location if you have not granted permission
• Share your precise real-time address or route with other users
Other users may see an approximate area or meeting point, but not your exact home address during the delivery route, in order to protect your privacy.
2.4 Device and Technical Information
We may collect:
• Device type and operating system
• App version and language settings
• IP address and general region
• Log data (crash logs, performance events)
• Basic usage analytics (which screens are used most, etc.)
This helps us improve app performance, fix bugs, and enhance your experience.
2.5 Payment Information
Payments in Tamitan are processed by third-party providers such as Cardcom.
We do NOT store full credit card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.
We may store:
• Partial card information (e.g., last 4 digits, card type) as provided by the payment processor
• Payment status (success / failure)
• Transaction IDs and timestamps
All sensitive payment data is handled by the payment provider, under their own security and compliance standards.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
• Create and manage your account
• Let you list and browse items
• Match buyers and sellers based on category and location
• Process payments, operational fees, and transaction logs
• Enable in-app chat and communication
• Show ratings and reviews to support trust
• Provide customer support and respond to requests
• Monitor for fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity
• Comply with legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal Basis (Where GDPR Applies)
Where the GDPR is relevant (for certain users or regions), we rely on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract – to provide you with the marketplace features you request

These providers process your data only on our behalf and according to our instructions.
5.2 Other Users
We share only what is necessary for transactions, such as:
• Your display name and optional profile photo
• Item and order details
• Approximate location or meeting point (not your exact live address or route)
We do NOT share your phone number or email directly with other users unless clearly required to complete a transaction and explicitly indicated.
5.3 Legal and Regulatory Authorities
We may disclose information if we are required to do so by law, court order, or a competent authority, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
6. Data Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described:
• Account data – kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or
anonymize your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Transaction records and invoices – kept for at least 7 years, as required by tax and accounting laws.
• Chat messages and reviews – kept to preserve marketplace integrity, resolve disputes, and protect against fraud.
• Technical logs – kept for a reasonable period for security and troubleshooting.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data, where legally possible
• Withdraw consent (for example, for location services)
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format, where applicable

Despite our efforts, no system is fully immune from risks. We work continuously to improve our security.
9. Children’s Privacy
Tamitan is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 16 without proper consent, we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the app or by other appropriate means. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows the latest revision.
